HEVES-X grain dryerThe HEVES-X grain dryers employ state-of-the-art technology – developed in the USA – which allows for uniform moisture withdrawal and energy efficient operation.  The dryers can be operated in three different modes that accommodate different types of grain from cereals to planting seeds.  The design of the HEVES-X dryers offers the combined benefits of simplicity, high-strength self-supporting structure, small space requirement, and high adaptability.  The HEVES-X dryers are available with drying capacities of 12-50 t/h  - at 10% moisture withdrawal.

Quantum computer controlled dryer user platformThe HEVES-X continuous flow grain dryers feature an automatic moisture sensoring and drying control system.  Due to this state-of-the-art system, the HEVES-X grain dryers are easy to use and offer a high level of technical reliability.  In addition, this moisture and temperature based control system also ensures uniform grain moisture content and provides high energy efficiency.  The system’s control unit, which can be installed up to 100 m from the dryer, offers a host of useful functionalities such as:

 

  • setting the desired drying mode
  • displaying the current operating parameters
  • automatically logging all operational details
  • the entire parts catalogue of the installed equipment
  • help with troubleshooting
The software of the computerized control system receives an upgrade on an annual basis.

Drying modes 

The HEVES-X grain dryers can be operated in three easy to set up drying modes for: (1) small grains and cereals, (2) oily seeds, and (3) planting seeds. These three drying modes are detailed below:

Drying mode 1 Mode 1:  Pressure drying and suction cooling

It is recommended for use with high moisture crops (ex.: corn) where 10-15% moisture withdrawal may be required.  In the suction cooling mode, a part of the energy spent on heating up the grain may be re-captured, which results in significant (12-18%) savings.  Click the image on the right to see the operational outline of this drying mode.

Drying mode 2Mode 2:  pressure drying and cooling

This mode is recommended for drying oily seeds (sunflower, canola, sesame seed, linen seed, canary seed, milo, etc.).  Through its burner cycle control feature active in this mode, the control system of the dryer ensures fire hazard-free drying.  Click the image on the right to see the operational outline of this drying mode.

Drying mode 3Mode 3:  Full heat drying
