 Seed-Imex offers grain bins and transit storage in the capacity range of 200-20.000 t/bin. We design and deliver storage facilities, handling equipment tailored to the unique needs to our customers. In the example below the typical lay-out of a Grain Bin Storage Facility is shown for wheat, corn, sunflower and soybean storage. This storage facility has the capability of intake and discharge the grain at the same time with the capacity dictated by the customer’s need. The grain is filled into the bins from trucks through a reception pit with a conveyor while going through the pre-cleaner and finally loaded into the grain bins.
Under the discharge process the grain is unloaded from the bins by means of under-floor conveyors to the bucket elevator and filled into the transit bins. The transit bins are used to fill the trucks with high efficiency to minimize waiting time for loading. The Grain Storage Facility is delivered with an optional microprocessor controlled Temperature Monitoring and Grain Storage Management System.
